As you may or may not have noticed, The Good Life Massage has a new logo!
This was designed in-house, and we couldn’t be more proud of it. Over the past several months, it has been appearing on almost everything associated with GLM, including our in-house skincare products, our gorgeous new lighted sign on the front of the building, this blog, our social media posts, and our business cards.
Why a waterfall?
Falling water represents abundance- an overflow of that which gives life. It’s a symbol of what we try to bring to every massage session and every interaction we have with our guests. The waterfall is a symbol of what we’re here to do: to promote your wellness in mind, body, and spirit.
But there’s also a story behind it…
Our founders, Amy Gunn and Kylee Davis, each began their own separate massage practices before teaming up. Their partnership grew out of the fact that they shared rent on a massage room, and found that they made a good working team.
When they officially decided to become partners and build a business together, compromises were made. The new business would keep the name of Kylee’s clinic, The Good Life Massage, while the new business’s logo and prevailing image in marketing would be Amy’s waterfall. The indoor fountain you see in our clinic today is one she used in private practice to create natural white noise during massages.
We’re so excited that we have this elegant symbol to represent what our customers mean to us, and the kind of benefit we hope to provide for every guest.
